Call Forwarding Options

To make sure Answer-Mate catches every call, you can choose how your

business number forwards calls. Below are the options and what they mean

in plain English.

1) Always Forward (Unconditional Forwarding)

• Every call to your number goes straight to Answer-Mate.

• Your phone will not ring at all.

• Best if you want Answer-Mate to handle all calls, 24/7.

2) Forward If No Answer (Conditional)

• Your phone rings first.

• If you don’t pick up after a few rings, the call automatically forwards

to Answer-Mate.

• Best if you usually answer, but want Answer-Mate as your backup

safety net when you miss a call.

3) Forward If Busy (Conditional)

• If you’re already on a call and another customer dials in, the second

call is forwarded directly to Answer-Mate.

• Best if you or your staff often juggle calls and want to make sure no

second caller ever gets a busy signal or voicemail.

Call Forwarding Instructions

Below are the steps you need to do to to set up call forwarding with the most common carriers. Replace [number] with the Answer-Mate number we

provide you in the next 24-48 hours from one of our customer support reps.

AT&T

• Always Forward (All Calls): Dial *72 + [number] + # →

press Call.

• Turn Off: Dial *73#.

• Forward if No Answer: Dial *92 + [number] + #.

• Forward if Busy: Dial *90 + [number] + #.

Verizon

• Always Forward (All Calls): Dial *72 + [number] → press

Call.

• Turn Off: Dial *73.

• Conditional Forwarding (Busy/No Answer): Dial *71 +

[number].[number].

T-Mobile

• Always Forward (All Calls): Dial **21* + [number] + #.

• Turn Off: Dial ##21#.

• Forward if No Answer: Dial **61* + [number] + #.

• Forward if Busy: Dial **67* + [number] + #.

Sprint

• Always Forward (All Calls): Dial *72 + [number].

• Turn Off: Dial *720.

• Conditional Forwarding: Dial *73 + [number].

VoIP / Comcast / Xfinity

• Log into your provider’s online portal.

• Look under Call Forwarding settings.

• Choose Always Forward or Forward if No Answer/Busy, then

enter the [Answer-Mate number].

• To turn off, disable call forwarding in the portal.
